  Car parking is available on site (Dunes Adventure Island). This is a pay and display car park.

  • From A19 South (Tyne Tunnel)
  • Head South on A19
  • Once through Tyne Tunnel take exit for A185
  • At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Jarrow Road/A194
  • Follow signs for South Shields Town Centre/A194
  • At Crossgate roundabout take the 2nd exit towards South Shields Town Centre/A194
  • At Town Hall, turn left and go onto Beach Road following signs for The Coast /A183
  • At traffic lights turn left and at roundabout take 2nd exit onto Sea Road.
  • Car parking available in Dunes Adventure Island car park.
  • Quasar is located behind the Dunes, within Ocean Beach Pleasure Park.

  • Head North on A19
  • At Testo’s Roundabout follow signs for South Shields
  • Take 2nd slip road towards South Shields A194
  • At roundabout take exit towards South Shields
  • At roundabout take 2nd exit towards South Shields
  • At Arches roundabout take 2nd exit onto Jarrow Road/A194
  • Follow signs for South Shields Town Centre/A194
  • At Crossgate roundabout take the 2nd exit towards South Shields Town Centre/A194
  • At Town Hall, turn left and go onto Beach Road following signs for The Coast /A183
  • At traffic lights turn left and at roundabout take 2nd exit onto Sea Road.

• By Bus & Metro

  The Metro Station and main bus station are situated on Kepple Street in South Shields.

  To get to Quasar on foot, head down King Street and then Ocean Road (passing Morrisons).
  Once at the Sea Hotel, Ocean Beach Pleasure Park is to the left.
  Quasar is located behind the Dunes, within Ocean Beach Pleasure Park.

  To get to Quasar by bus, go to Stand F for the E1.
  This will take you along Ocean Road to Ocean Beach Pleasure Park.
  You will need to alight at either The Sea Hotel or The Sundial bus stop.
